About Me:

I am a Registered Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapy of Ontario. I am passionate about continuing education to expand my skills to provide the highest quality physiotherapy services to the community. I have gained over 10 years of clinical experience since her graduation with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from SNDT University, India. In 2014, she graduated with an Honours Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion from Humber College, Ontario. She is rostered with the College of Physiotherapy to practice Acupuncture subsequent to her training with the Advanced Physical Therapy Education Institute. She will be continuing her education with courses in pelvic floor rehabilitation, vestibular rehabilitation and advanced manual therapy certification. Hemangi provides one-on-one services for her patients using a variety of techniques including manual therapy (myofascial release techniques, trigger point release techniques, and mobilization), goal-oriented exercise prescription, acupuncture, pain relieving modalities and patient education. She strongly believes in educating her patients about their active role in rehabilitation, seeking out the root cause for the condition, and determining how to best prevent re-occurrences. She encourages her patients to take their first step to improving their quality of life through rehabilitation in order to achieve their functional goals as fast as safely possible. Hemangi believe that effective communication plays a vital role in her therapy sessions and therefore strives to better understand her patients’ concerns and goals.Hemangi speaks English, Gujarati and Hindi. In her spare time, she enjoys her motherhood and travelling.
